Who It's For
Looking to get your head around a new and exciting region for wine? Then our deep dive series is for you! California is the largest wine producing region in America - and the 4th largest in the world! Home to a mix of large, old wineries and new, small producers, this is an extremely passionate, innovative and knowledgeable winemaking community, dedicated to their land and their craft. We will look at various regions across the state, the wines they are famous for and the specific geological features that make them so brilliant at producing top quality grapes.

What It's About
Guided by the Pacific Wines team, start your unforgettable journey through the beautiful and diverse state of California as we shine the spotlight on the artistry of the wine styles from this area on the North West Pacific Coast of America. We will look at some incredible wines, covering the more classic grape varieties of the region.
Our Californian inspired events space will transport you to a sun-drenched tasting room of the Golden State, where you will discover lots of fun facts and stories from our highly knowledgeable staff, and - of course - enjoy a selection of standout wines as we learn about what makes them truly special.

- On your journey, you will savour 5 meticulously curated 70ml glasses of white and red wine from California.
- To accompany, nibble on a delectable assortment of cheese and crackers.
- You will leave brimming with knowledge as the Pacific Wines team impart their expertise of the American wine scene to you through a series of educational events designed to take a deep dive into specific regions. Who's your host?
Jin Lee
Jin completed his WSET 2 course, and then jumped right into wine world by taking full harvest season in Bordeaux for the 2024 vintage. With love for natural wine, organic wine-making and of course West Coast Pacific Wines, Jin is the natural wine geek in our team. He also hosts private wine tasting event experiences for wine enthusiasts too. If you are looking for deeper knowledge of wine making, biodynamic process and passionate wine maker stories, say hi and start chatting!
