An approachable tasting, designed for those wanting to expand their knowledge of wine, try something new, or just explore the beautiful and diverse world of Oregon wines, whilst being entertained and educated in equal measure.
What It's About
Journey through the beautiful and diverse world of Oregonian wines, guided by the Pacific Wines team. We shine the spotlight on this incredible region, showcasing the unique and diverse range of wines produced there.
Our bright, airy, American inspired events space will transport you across the pond where you will acquire lots of fun facts and stories from our highly knowledgeable staff, and - of course - enjoy a selection of standout Oregonian wines as we learn about what makes them truly special.
We will delve deeply into one of America's most sought-after regions (anyone for an Oregonian Pinot noir or two?), highlight the importance of geography on this cool-climate, rainy wine region, and look at how winemakers work with the terroir to make something full of personality and that represents both time and place.
What to Expect
- On arrival, you will receive a delicious welcome wine (Oregonian of course) to prepare your taste buds for the night ahead.
- On your journey, you will savour 5 meticulously curated 70ml glasses of Oregonian wine - two Pinot Noirs with round the evening off (Oregon wine production is 70% Pinot Noir after all), but we will showcase 4 other grape varieties and show that Oregon is made of more than it's most well known wine product.
- To accompany, nibble on a delectable assortment of cheese and crackers.
- You will leave brimming with knowledge as the Pacific Wines team impart their expertise of the Oregonian wine scene to you through a brief history lesson, fun facts, entertaining stories, and lots of visuals.
- As a special treat, we're thrilled to offer a 15% discount on all Oregon wine purchases made after the event, with 10% off any other wines. So, if you wish to take home a bottle that captivated your senses, you'll have the opportunity to do so at an exclusive price.
