Who It's For
New parents, on parental leave and looking for a way to socialise and bring the baby! A maximum capacity of 10 adults, and room for babes in arms to attend.
Desperate to come to one of our events but can’t leave the little one at home? Introducing our babes in arms friendly tasting event, giving you the chance to experience the Introductory Event in our Uncorking America series with fellow new parents. This event will run just as any other Introductory Event would run, except for an earlier start time so there are no late bedtimes needed.
What It's About
Guided by the Pacific Wines team, embark on an unforgettable journey through the world of American wines.
Our Californian inspired events space will transport you across the pond (without the trials and tribulations of a long haul flight with a baby) where you will learn lots of fun facts and stories from our highly knowledgeable staff. Most importantly though, you’ll get to enjoy a selection of standout wines that highlight the rich tapestry of American winemaking from California to Oregon whilst getting to know some fellow new parents!
What To Expect
- On arrival, you will receive a delicious welcome wine to prepare your taste buds for the night ahead.
- On your journey, you will savour 4 meticulously curated 70ml glasses of wine (we know some of our attendees won't have had a drink for a while so we're easing you back in with four glasses, and for those who would like a little more there will be the option to purchase an additional glass or two on the night).
- To accompany, nibble on a delectable assortment of cheese and crackers.
- You will leave brimming with knowledge as the Pacific Wines team impart their expertise in American winemaking to you through a brief history lesson, fun facts, entertaining stories, and lots and lot of visuals.
- As a special treat, we're thrilled to offer a 10% discount on wine purchases made after the event. So, if you wish to take home a bottle that captivated your senses, you'll have the opportunity to do so at an exclusive price.
Please Note
This is a seated social event designed for you to chat, relax and engage. If you are able to bring your baby in a baby carrier/wrap, that would be much appreciated as there is limited room for buggies. Please only purchase a maximum of 2 tickets per baby, as we would like as many new parents as possible to be able to access this limited event.
Doors open at 3:45pm for a prompt 4pm start: there’s no time to lose when wine and wisdom is at stake!
